This is going to be a quick drive by post as I am exhausted beyond belief. All is good! Little Seven is doing well, measuring a little behind with a 3mm crown rump length and a gestation age of 5w6d, but has a beautiful HB of 117 bpm.
Scanning the u/s photo wasn't working too well, so here's a picture of the picture.
I have lots of details and will post them when I'm a little more coherent. See what happens when dog tired Jill tries to make a smoothie?
Nighty night.
So glad all is well! Rest yourself and take it easy! By the way, I hope Kerry cleaned that up for you!!!
ReplyDeleteCindy
Yay! Heartbeat!!!!!! Can't wait to hear more. :)
ReplyDeleteWoohoo what a beautiful site!!!.....I knew you'd be posting this kind of news....I had NO DOUBTS:-) Hopefully they explained to you that you aren't actually measuring "behind"...there can be a variance this early on and you are right on target! H/B is perfect too:-) Isn't that the most amazing thing in the world when they show you that little bean and you see that little flicker? It's the 2nd most amazing thing I've ever experienced....of course #1 is when they put your little baby on your chest as soon as you give birth...just wait and you'll see what I'm talking about!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read more updates!!!
love you mama!
Yay for a wonderful heartbeat. It's the best isn't it? You'd better get used to the smoothie incident and similar ones. For some reason any coordination flies out of the window when pregnant. Congratulations on a fabulous day!
ReplyDeleteYAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so, so happy for you all. And THRILLED that you got to see that beautiful heartbeat. What an extra blessing. We will keep praying for that little peanut :-)
ReplyDeleteSo glad all is well, Jill! I don't know anything about MTHFR, but am glad your docs are right on top of it. Hang in there, sweetie!
ReplyDeleteI knew it all day long.
ReplyDeleteGet some rest little sister
Love ya
Sis
So glad to see that everything is okay...I was worried when I saw you post about the MTHFR thing but I think that you'll be fine. I appreciate your arrow too on the u/s to direct our attention to the proper spot in the picture :). Tired is good too - means that little seven is growing and you need to rest up so that seven can get what she/he needs from you! Yay Mommy!
ReplyDeleteWas thinking about you...came here and low and behold...an u/s with a heartbeat!! Good, good news!
ReplyDeleteSmiles, Heidi
Sounds perfect! They only have to move the little measuring cursor a hair at this point, and it makes a major difference in the calculated GA. I think the FHR of 117 is the best sign. My baby only had one of 127 at 7w1d (and measured at 6w5d).
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful amazing picture! All your dreams are coming true!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful web pic of a pic of the pic of Little 7! Ah! And you must be thrilled to hear the beautiful music of that little heartbeat! I am so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteAnd what are you doing making that smoothie yourself? Hope you didn't have to clean it up! Pregnant women are exempt from doing any kind of work for 9 months! That's where your husband comes in! ;-) And get plenty of rest! It's no easy feat making a whole new human being inside!
Hi there...
ReplyDeleteWas excited that there was No bad news today...and I can't help thinking aobut that heartbeat!!!!
Love you as big as the sky!!! Mama
We knew all along #7 was going to beating strong. You can't keep a good girl down. Waiting anxiously for more pics. Technology is awesome.Glad you have a great HR Dr.
ReplyDeleteKerry needs to make you a smoothie every day.
Love you bunches,
That's wonderful! Congratulations!! Let your hubster clean up the mess and make you a new smoothie :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that Lucky Seven is doing well and has a nice little heartbeat:) Can't wait to hear the details!:)
ReplyDeleteTHRILLED!!!! Yippeeeee!!!! Will be anxious to see more details when you are rested and coherent. :0)
ReplyDeletexoxo,
The Other Jill
Whew, I am so relieved to hear the heartbeat is good and strong. Yay!!
ReplyDeleteYeah for the hearbeat!
ReplyDeleteYay!! Fetal measurements are totally inaccurate at this time. Supposedly it is supposed to be within "plus or minus" 6 days. So your little one is right on track! So happy for you.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I second JJ on the coordination issues. I am seriously looking into a cheap set of correlle dishes b/c I keep breaking ours!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the great news! Very happy that all is well in seven-land! :-)
ReplyDeleteAwesome picture! :) I just got my 8 week u/s today and posted it on my blog. What an amazing feeling.
ReplyDeleteFunny picture of the smoothie... poor thing... Hope you get some rest! :)
Cheers,
