FET#1.5 - Two Steps Forward

I had my blood drawn today to test my progesterone level. They want the level greater than 5 to indicate ovulation.

My level was: 23.12 (lab reference range 5.16 - 18.56)

Last time it was 27.64, so my progesterone seems to run on the high side naturally. Not sure if that's a good thing or not.

I start Lupron injections (10iu daily) tonight and then wait for AF.  The sooner she comes, the sooner I get to bring my sweet little Seven home, so come on AF!

Right foot, Left foot.... great to be moving FORWARD!

Haha! kept looking on the side for some reason. :P Just wanted to make sure you knew I have been keeping up with your blog. 7. I never put too much confidence in blood levels of hormones. When they learn how to test the levels in tissues accurately, then I'll be interested. I'm glad your able to move on! Just one more step closer!

  10. Wonderful news! Glad that you're getting this all on the road...all this excitement over getting to do a Lupron shot seems kind of funny doesn't it?! Although it seems like two baby steps forward you are definitely going to pick up speed and you'll be on your way in no time :)

  11. Such great news! Lucky number 7 will be home soon! Oh, and I have no idea about the hormone levels...I'm terrible with that (again that evidence that I am too type B I guess). I'm guessing it is a good thing for it to be high:-)

  12. Congrats on moving forward! And listen to Phoebe about the blood levels...I did. If I didn't, I would have gone bonkers during our FET...my numbers were so wacky the whole time, even CCRM couldn't really figure them out. I just kept on repeating the mantra "the levels are different in the tissue - where it counts. the levels are different in the tissue - where it counts.". It helped - thanks Phoebe.

    Come on AF!

  13. Hi Jill!
I know it's been a few blogs since I've been able to respond back, but your Mom updates me on what is going on and I had a few minutes to hop on the comment train so...I like forward! It won't be long now and little #7 will come out of hibernation and warm and bond to your belly and your entire life so keep that forward positive attitude going and before you know it your life will be complete and you will be a mommy! I love you and I'm sorry about my absence, but I had to marry my baby off to the love of his life (sniff-sniff) and I have been SO BUSY! And I got to see my big sister, bro-in-law and neice, Cassi for 6 days!!! What an emotional week and hormones weren't even involved! Me and your Mom did kissy-face when she left (we were like little sisters, instead of grown adults)! It was a wonderful time, missed your presence! Take care and know I love you and your family, always and a day...Aunt Kook xoxoxoxoxo
