Yikes! Summer Is Here!
Hello Peeps!
Just a friendly reminder... SUN SCREEN!!!!
This is from being outside noon-1p. ONE hour! Don't be stupid like me!
OMG - Yikes! My skin is fair and I burn like that also. It sucks. I live in Michigan and we haven't seen the sun since October (I'm not really kidding), so I'll need to be extra careful this summer too.
Hello! Thanks for the reminder of using sunscreen, but when you're MY age, old, there's very little skin exposed to the sun because I don't want to gross anyone out! And even if I were to have my back and other body parts out and about...I couldn't aford the sunscreen (does it come in 55 gallon drums?) And I wouldn't be able to put it on my back by myself and asking a neighbor to assist would be not so good, if you know what I mean (the widow on the block and the husband of a neighbor)...I don't think the bible was referring to sunscreen application when it was written "love thy neighbor"! And to have a female neighbor apply sunscreen...well Iowa just legalized gay marriage and you know how the rumors would go wild seeing two women slathering up each other with sunscreen! I'd have my dog do it, but his toenails are pretty tough on skin and he would lick it off as fast as he was applying it! I suppose I could lay down a plastic drop cloth, pour lotion all over it and roll around until I was covered in sunscreen, but I don't want to be put in a looney bin, yet (but I may be close!) It's just a lose-lose situation for me, but for the rest of the world...keep safe and cream til you scream! :) Love always and a day...Aunt Carol xoxoxoxoxoxo
Woah! You got more in an hour than you did on your last vacay! Ouchie!
ReplyDeleteOoooowwwwww!!! That looks so painful :(. I guess you'll be sleeping faced down tonight eh? I hope you heal fast honey.

I got a little on my shoulders...but it does not compare. Break out the aloe! Hope you heal quickly!
ReplyDeleteYikes that is some serious sunburn. Takes some major anti-inflammatories. I hope you heal up quickly!
ReplyDeleteOuchie! Oh, Honey, that looks like it hurts so bad! Do you have any aloe lotion? I hope it heals fast for you.
ReplyDeleteOuch! I hope you have some fresh aloe!
ReplyDeleteOuch, Jill... use some vinegar, will take the sting right out of it. Love you!!!!! Mom
