I made it! Way behind, but I made it to 52 weeks! It has been such a challenge to keep these weekly updates going as every time I was this.close to catching up, I blinked and another week or two, or three went by. I hope my little guy will enjoy reading his e-babybook some day and I hope those of you still around have enjoyed keeping up! This will be my last weekly update. I'm going to try out monthly updates with an occasional extra update if there is something specific I want to share or record, and see how that goes.
Tyler Update:
He's running!!! He's very vocal! Mama is trying to keep up!
This week in photos:
(My camera is on the fritz and produces worse photos every week. The ones below were some of the better ones. Anyone have a camera recommendation that has good low light and action ability. Most of my shots are indoors of an all-over-the-place-into-everything toddler.)
We had to drop the crib to the lowest level. Despite my begging Ty to slow down and not be in such a hurry to grow up, he's just not listening. I have put my back out way too many time as I can't reach bottom when I go to lay him down.

Loves his Dyson
Cousins
Tyler not quite sure what to think of this hug.
Walking around like a celebrity with his new hat and shades he got from his auntie.
Intrigued by his gift to daddy on Father's day.
Our nanny's last day. We miss you Mandy!!!

Video: Tyler running and vocalizing
Oooh, noooo... I know what you mean and I understand how it is with a growing boy, but boy I will these updates.
ReplyDeleteAs for camera - I strongly recommend Canon S95. We are Canon people, have a series of DSLRs but they are not handy when you want to just snap a shot of the avocado-toofers extravaganza in the morning. So we got this little compact. It IS small and the videos are acceptable and it also has manual mode if you're into that (I am not, but hubs is, and this is why his photos are always loads better than mine) (but mine are funnier :-)). It's a bit on the pricey side, but it is worth it.
You should see Colton standing here staring at the videos and pictures! It's so cute! He started talking to the video from this week. :0)
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it through the year, and YES, Tyler will LOVE the e-babybook you've created. I've so enjoyed it, too. I agree, monthly updates are more manageable... Although I'm still behind on that! Thanks for keeping us up to speed. We love your family!!
Happy Summer, and can't wait to see the big birthday bash!!
The Other Jill

Also, the pics of him in his golf outfit and fishing gear were wonderful! Thanks for sharing such an important stage of Tyler's life...now I'm ready for the next one...keep 'em coming! love...Aunt/Great Aunt Kook :)
